Swim suit season is upon us now ( in the Northern Hemisphere) and when selecting the right size for our LASC swim wear here are a few things to keep in mind.

1. LASC swimwear is low rise. This means that the swimsuit is worn about 2 or 3 inches below the navel. Not on your waist which is the narrowest circumfrance of your torso, but on your wider hips.

2. If you have a pair of LOW RISE jeans you can correspond that waist size with our small thru x large sizing of our swimwear.

3. Swimsuits with an elastic waist are easier to wear as the elastic will eliminate any extra space between the suit and your body. All of our swimsuits have drawcords and these will also tighten a swimsuit by about 1 to 2 inches.

4. It's better to buy larger than smaller when in doubt as the elastic and the drawcord will tighten up a swimsuit's waist especiall if you have bodybuilder's legs and butt the extra room in a bigger size will help eliminate the look of "10 pounds of potaotes in a 5 pound sack"

5. If all else fails remember to leave the tags on your unworn suit and return it to us with instructions on sizing or crediting.
